The latest appointments in the fleet industry.

  • HERTZ Europe has appointed Sue Branston as European partnership manager. Branston will report to the group's European partnerships director, Judith Short, and will be responsible for developing relationships with car manufacturers. Prior to the appointment at Hertz, Branston spent several years working in the motor industry, including a spell as marketing manager at LeasePlan International. She also worked for Velo and at leasing software provider International Decision Systems.

  • BRI-STOR, the vehicle-racking group, has appointed a new operations manager as part of its expansion programme. Mark Mountford, formerly of white goods manufacturer Merloni, joins the group with 19 years experience including project, production, quality and materials and supply chain management. As part of his new role, he will help implement new manufacturing techniques.

  • MEENA Kanagavel has been promoted to a newly- created role of project manager at ABS Accident Solutions. Kanagavel secured the role after completing the Prince2 project management qualification and helping launch the ABS repairer software. She joined ABS in 2002 after gaining a business degree in Manchester and will be responsible for implementing proposed changes to ABS's business processes and procedures.

  • IN-CAR technology provider Toad has appointed a new fleet sales manager in a bid to strengthen the group's fleet sales team. Craig Moore joins the company with a range of fleet industry experience, including 10 years with PHH Vehicle Management. As fleet sales manager, Moore will be responsible for promoting Toad's portfolio of fleet management solutions to a wider audience of corporate clients and fleet management organisations.

  • CFC SOLUTIONS has boosted its client services department with the appointment of two new support technicians. Chris Fenton has been taken on as fleet support technician covering large fleet software. He joins from Powergen where he has completed several projects during the past two years. Wendy Dainter has also been appointed as leasing support technician working on leasing products. She has spent the past few years completing a degree in business administration.
  • FLEET and vehicle claims group AMC has appointed Nick Williams as its new business development director. He joins the company from Willis Drive Motor Initiatives where he worked as sales and marketing director. Williams will be responsible for developing relationships with the fleet insurance market in addition to providing technical help to the AMC team. He brings with him 16 years of motor claims and broking market experience.
