SMALL fleets can now take advantage of an improved insurance service offered by Zurich, which aims to enable businesses to get online cover in less than 10 minutes.

Zurich's commercial vehicle policies will be backed by a certificate within 48 hours according to the insurer, which will also register all fleet vehicles on the Motor Insurers' Database (MID).

David Smith, business operations director for Zurich's UK commercial business, said: 'Small businesses need to be free to focus on their core business and reduce the amount of time spent on red tape and administration. Our new set of online insurance products are designed to be easy to understand, flexible and available at the press of a button.'
