A NEW management team has taken over the Nidd Vale Group's General Motors division.
Former group chairman Richard Jackson will retain control of the group's Mercedes-Benz division.
The buyout, for an undisclosed sum, has been led by Colin Hainstock, formerly managing director of the group's General Motors division, who becomes chairman and chief executive.
The General Motors business includes Nidd Vale Vauxhall and Nidd Vale Saab in Harrogate, Sandbeck Motors in Wetherby and the GM aftersales and bodyshop facility on Hornbeam Park, Harrogate.
