KIA has launched a new programme that ensures every used vehicle undergoes a 75-point pre-delivery inspection before receiving a 'KIApproved' certificate and comprehensive written report in a bid to keep second-hand prices high.

The KIApproved programme has the additional benefit of being available across all manufacturers' makes and models, not just Kia vehicles. KIApproved status is only awarded to vehicles that pass strict criteria of vehicle identity, history and mileage checks and are accompanied by a service history.

Every vehicle will be sold with the remainder of its manufacturer's warranty (minimum of 12 months) or a minimum 12 month comprehensive KIApproved warranty and be covered by a 14 day conditional exchange plan. Additional options include a 12 or 24-month warranty extension, full RAC coverage, and MOT insurance.
