HONDA has revealed pictures of its revised Civic (pictured) which will go on sale in November, promising ride, handling and steering improvements and new look front and rear ends.

All Civics gain 'projector' style headlamps while steering and suspension settings have been changed to improve response at higher speeds. Settings are specific to three-door and five-door models as well as Sport, Type S and Type R variants.

From April 2004 the Type S will come with vehicle stability assist (VSA) while revisions to the 2004 model Type R, including a lighter flywheel and clutch assembly, shave 0.2 seconds off the 0-62mph time, now down to 6.6 seconds.

Prices for the revised range will be announced closer to its November launch date.
