VAUXHALL'S new Euro IV diesel large cars are now available to order, with prices starting at £16,885 on the road for the Vectra and £20,015 for the Signum.

Using two versions of a 1.9-litre common rail diesel engine, the Vectra is offered in LS, Club, SXi, Design, SRi and Elite versions in 120bhp eight-valve variants, as well as 150bhp 16-valve variants.

Meanwhile, the Signum gets the same engines with Elegance, Design or Elite trim. With Euro IV-compliant engines, the cars are not subject to the 3% supplement levied on diesels. Cars are expected to arrive in showrooms in April.
