The latest appointments in the fleet industry. Sandie Hurford has joined the Fleet News team after replacing Julian Kirk as deputy production editor.
Hurford began her career as a reporter with the Peterborough Standard and worked as a sub-editor at the Peterborough Evening Telegraph before moving on to the Stamford Mercury, where she became deputy editor.
She was later a freelance, working on Fleet News, AM and other Emap Active and Automotive titles for the past three years. COOPER-Avon Tyres has improved its UK fleet sales team with three new appointments. Simon Michael, Andrew Round and Nick Gibb have all taken on national account manager roles across the South, Midlands and North respectively. All three report directly to national accounts director Ian Daniels.
The group has also appointed Lisa Felton and Roger Covello as retail marketing managers responsible for the UK.
