THE first manufacturers to sign up for Company Car in Action are Vauxhall, Saab and Peugeot.

The two GM brands and the French manufacturer confirmed last week that they will be taking cars to the drive-and-decide event at Millbrook in June 2007. Company Car In Action was bought in August by Emap Automotive, publisher of Fleet News.

Paul Adler, fleet brand manager for Vauxhall and Saab, said: ‘Vauxhall and Saab are delighted to confirm our attendance at CCiA 2007 and we hope to confirm Chevrolet soon. CCiA was successful for us this year, with a significant increase in test drive activity and with Fleet News’ event experience and expertise in reaching fleet decision makers, we anticipate an even better show in 2007.’

Fleet and procurement managers are invited to Millbrook Proving Ground in Bedfordshire, where they will have the opportunity to drive dozens of popular fleet cars around the many test tracks. The event takes place on June 19, 20 and 21 next year.

The website for the event will go live on January 2, 2007. Register to receive news about Company Car In Action by sending your details now to companycar@emap.com.
