Two outstanding individuals and one team was honoured with customer service awards at the FN50 Dinner, while the latest winner of the Fleet News Wellbeing Award was also announced.
The leasing customer service awards, sponsored by Fleet Procure, received a record number of entries this year.
Winning the rising star category was Celeste Waghorn, customer service advisor at Ayvens.
She has shown consistency in delivering outstanding service, demonstrating an extraordinary level of dedication to every aspect of her role.
Her manager said Waghorn (pictured below receiving her award) has “star quality and serves as a beacon of excellence for both new and existing colleagues”.
Highly commended in this category were:
- Miri Watson at Alphabet
- Millie Allbut at SG Fleet
- Kallum Martin at Volkswagen Financial Services Fleet
The individual customer service star of the year went to Rebecca Campbell (pictured below receiving her award), corporate sales account manager at Arval.
Campbell works on one of Arval’s biggest corporate accounts. Her manager described as a “superstar whose passion for the customer is apparent throughout every interaction”.
Highly commended were:
- Mel Mizen at Marshall Leasing
- Jessica Salvietto at Volkswagen Financial Services Fleet
Team of the year for the 2024 leasing customer service awards was SG Fleet’s UK Outsource Team.
One customer said this team “always goes above and beyond and they are an irreplaceable partner”.
“Their knowledge and attention to detail make them an indispensable part of the team.”
Collecting the award from SG Fleet, were Rachel Whelton, customer services manager, Sarah Vernon, team leader and Gemma Reid, customer services officer (pictured below).

Fleet News Wellbeing Award
James was respected, and loved, across the fleet industry and touched the lives of so many people.
Our Wellbeing Award, sponsored by Cox Automotive, recognises a company that has created a culture of emotional, mental, social and physical wellbeing and support for its employees.
Twelve companies entered the Wellbeing Award this year, the most ever, underlining just how important wellbeing and mental health is now taken at senior levels within our industry.
The AA’s comprehensive approach to wellbeing say it collect the trophy this year.
With a strategy based on the five pillars of physical, social, financial, emotional and professional wellbeing, the AA strives to improve wellbeing at each step of an employee’s journey, and not simply react when needed. It’s clear that people are at the heart of everything it does.
Collecting the award was Oliver Atkinson (pictured at the top of the page receiving the award), occupational health & wellbeing business partner, The AA.
Presenting the trophy was Sam Panayaides, director of sales at Cox Automotive.
