Ian Rendle has been promoted by CAP to the role of general manager.

A specialist in customer relationship management, Ian Rendle has been pivotal in CAP’s strategy over recent years of understanding customers’ information needs in an increasingly complex and competitive industry. Rendle joined CAP in April 2006 and has since worked across the sales and marketing functions as client service director.

Among his key achievements has been the creation of a clearer and fairer pricing policy for customers, negotiation of key external partnerships and the development of medium to long term client-focused growth strategy.

CAP managing director Richard Whittles said: “Ian’s energy, passion and commitment to CAP’s customers has been pivotal to strengthening the company and I wish him every success in this important new role.”
