Hastings Insurance Services Limited has awarded a major contract to Nationwide to provide glass replacement and repair for its customers.

Nationwide is providing this service through its specialised Nationwide Motorglass operation.

Nationwide Motorglass was relaunched in September 2010 to the fleet and retail markets, and has since doubled the number of vehicles on the road. “We were delighted that Hastings chose Nationwide Motorglass to provide its glass repairs,” explains Michael Wilmshurst, chief executive of Nationwide Accident Repairs Services plc. “We are very proud of the service quality we provide across Nationwide, and I know that customer service, rapid response times, quality and value for money were all key considerations for Hastings when they awarded this contract.

“We have made substantial investment in our mobile services, including Motorglass and our market-leading Nationwide Mobile Repairs. Although, we have dealt with Hastings for a number of years, Motorglass is a relevantly new division of Nationwide. We have a great team here, who are achieving fantastic customer service levels, but receiving the very first job from Hastings was a wonderful moment for everyone involved – and a great way to start the New Year.
