Jameel Motors, the UK distributor of the Farizon SV large electric van, has signed a deal with the AA to provide nationwide aftersales support. 

While Jameel Motors is committed to building a footprint of Farizon franchise dealers, it says that the agreement with the AA provides an established ready-made solution to complement the evolving network. 

It will be provided as standard, at no cost to customers. 

The AA’s support package for Farizon customers includes regular service and maintenance provision through its 213 electric vehicle (EV) and light commercial vehicle (LCV) certified aftersales workshops located across the country, as well as nationwide coverage of more than 100 on-call mobile technicians. 

In addition, one year of AA Roadside Assistance is included in the purchase price of all new Farizon SV vans and is transferrable with ownership. 

As well as roadside assistance, the agreement sees the AA aiming to fulfil routine service bookings at 48 hours’ notice. 

It will also provide a dedicated telephone helpline to take bookings as well as for technical and customer service enquiries.

The Farizon SV is a fully electric panel van is offered in five sizes and with three battery options.

Pricing starts at £45,000 (CV OTR) for the smallest van with the smallest battery and rises to £56,000 for the largest model with the largest battery.

It comes with a manufacturer-backed, bumper-to-bumper four-year/120,000-mile warranty; an eight-year/120,000-mile warranty for the battery, a three-year paint warranty, and a 10-year anti-perforation warranty.
