Van Trader has announced a new partnership with The Fuelcard Company. The partnership will enable more business users to discover the benefits of a fuel card system through Van Trader, as well as sister commercial sites Truck Trader, Farmers Trader and Plant Trader.
Fuel cards offer businesses an alternative to using cash or credit cards to purchase fuel for their fleet of vehicles, making it easier to prevent fraudulent transactions while saving money on fuel and administration costs.
Simon Howard, manufacturer and key account director – commercials & bikes, Trader Publishing Limited, comments: “This partnership represents a real commercial opportunity for Van Trader, while also delivering real value for our business users, allowing for lower fuel costs, increased security and the benefit of fuel experts on hand to help at The Fuelcard Company’s dedicated call centre. Businesses are also able to provide VAT invoices for fuel quickly and easily through access to The Fuelcard Company’s HMRC approved consolidated VAT invoices system, further reducing admin time on managing a company’s fuel strategy.”
Jakes de Kock (pictured), marketing director for The Fuelcard Company, said: “Our alliance with TraderMedia grew from a desire by two like-minded, service providers to help hard pressed business road users gain maximum savings and efficiencies on their travel.
“Visitors to the commercial websites will now have access to bespoke information and advice on which fuel card best meets their business needs through a personalised website customised with tailored advice to help them save time and money.”
