Automotive consultancy and data provider Derwent Management Services Ltd has acquired wear rate specialists Tangent Business Solutions Ltd.

Keith Darby, managing director of Derwent said “We are very pleased to have concluded this strategic deal with Andy Smith and the other shareholders. Andy will bring a wealth of experience to our consultancy team and will seriously strengthen our existing projects, particularly Service Cost Analysis.

We believe that adding the technical expertise of Tangent to Derwent’s software development ability and commercial creativity will produce lots of useful new products for our clients.”
