Renault is upgrading warranty cover across its range from September bringing all models in line with the Laguna

The move will see all models sold with cover over three years/100,000 miles and, it is claimed, a testament to work done to improve the reliability of its range in recent years.

In the Which? car survey 2011, four current Renault models were in the top five for their classes for reliability – the Clio, Grand Modus, Mégane and Scénic. Renault has also raised 10 places in the last two Auto Express Driver Power surveys.

The new strategic plan, Renault Drive the Change 2016, sees quality as a priority along with design and innovation in a bid to strengthen Renault’s brand image.

Next month will see the start of a scheme where 4,500 Renault customers will be interviewed each month and satisfaction ratings for sales and after-sales at each of Renault’s UK dealers will be available to view at www.renault.co.uk.

The ‘Project Air’ initiative is currently being introduced at Renault dealers across the UK and is expected to be completed by the end of 2014. The aim is tol improve the appearance of all customer-facing aspects of the business, with new fixtures, fittings, floors and lighting to give a contemporary and airy feeling.
