Staff at Visioncall have collected the keys to 10 white Yeti GreenLine II vehicles.

The national team of opticians, optometrists, dispensing opticians and optical assistants has added the 10 Skoda Yetis to its fleet to assist them when visiting elderly patients in their home or care home. The deal has been operated on a 3 year, fully maintained contract hire arrangement through multi award-winning leasing and fleet management company, Ogilvie Fleet.

Rodney Harkins, fleet manager for Visioncall, said: “We were immediately impressed with the Yeti. Many of our opticians clock up more than 20,000 miles a year, so excellent fuel efficiency and vehicle reliability is key. Most importantly, our opticians must feel confident and comfortable when out on the road – which we know they will in a Skoda.”

Ogilvie fleet sales and marketing director, Nick Hardy, said: “Many of our valued clients, such as Visioncall, are looking to reduce fleet operating costs without compromising on quality.

“The Skoda Yetis were selected because they ticked all the boxes; the vehicles stood out from the competition and with emissions of just 119 g/km were affordable for drivers culpable for personal taxation.”

Martin Burke, Head of Fleet Sales for Skoda UK, comments: “We’re always happy to demonstrate precisely how our vehicles perform in terms of whole life cost, and for Visioncall, Skoda made clear financial sense. The award-winning Yeti remains one of our best-selling models, thanks to its good looks and versatility – which is why it was applauded once again in this year’s JD Power Customer Satisfaction survey.”
