Co-operative Flexible Benefits has launched a new partnership with Zenith to provide an innovative car scheme to its customers.
The Green Car Scheme will be made available to employers as part of its range of benefits that Co-operative Flexible Benefits offers, which includes childcare vouchers, financial services and healthcare. This is the first time a car benefit has been offered by Co-operative Flexible Benefits.
Debbie Tankard, national sales and marketing manager for Co-operative Flexible Benefits, said: “As a benefits provider we are focussed on changing the way employers think about the benefits they offer and working together to create something special and unique.
“It is important to us to only work with trusted and experienced suppliers such as Zenith.
“By working in partnership with Zenith, we are able to offer even more choice to our customers and a valuable alternative to the traditional commercial packages available from other providers.”
The Green Car Scheme, designed by Zenith, is a tax efficient way to drive low CO2 vehicles through a salary sacrifice mechanism.
As well as enhancing choice and the value of an existing benefit package, all delivered at little or no cost to the employer, it helps improve duty of care compliance where employees use their car for business travel, says Zenith.
Tim Buchan, chief executive officer for Zenith, said: “We are delighted to announce the launch of our new partnership with Co-operative Flexible Benefits.
“Our new Green Car Scheme enables us to add an exciting new option to employees within their existing and future customer base, at no cost to the employer.
“Cars generate a lot of interest and excitement and the Green Car Scheme revitalises and invigorates a flexible benefits package.”
