Isotrak is offering live mobile data communications as part of its telematics solution to provide dynamic control of fleet operations. It allows managers to update delivery plans in real time and instantly alert drivers over the air to changes to their trips.

Using mobile data, the system leads drivers through required job workflows and they receive electronic manifests to guide them through their shift. The mobile data module provides a range of communication options, including text-based information that can be used with an additional hands-free voice communications option if required.

The system records all messaging activity automatically to provide an audit trail. A live GPS feed also provides full visibility of drivers and other mobile workers. It is also possible to capture important information such as vehicle checks, ODO readings, text and voice messages, panic alerts and work manifests at log in or log out.
