Equipment capable of monitoring the number of times vehicle doors and bonnets are opened helped Isotrak to a £20 million turnover in 2012.
And further technology advances look set to pave the way for Isotrak to make further inroads in fleet management, it was claimed at the CV Show.
“We are confident that the technology we offer will continue to deliver further expansion as an increasing number of operators appreciate the potential for big savings in efficiency,” said sales and marketing director Alan Gunner.
As the Milton Keynes firm demonstrated latest in-cab camera, handheld computer and fleet management technology on its stand, Gunner claimed the company had achieved efficiency improvements of up to 19 per cent.
“After cutting our teeth as a logistics provider in the heavy goods sector, we are now working with supermarkets operating on-line delivery fleets. Our customers want to know where vehicles are, what they’re doing and how they are being driven - we’re able to do that and also provide them with a raft of further detailing,” said Gunner.
Among the equipment on display was Mobileye, an assistance system designed to monitor the road ahead to help drivers avoid potential collision situations.
