Contract hire provider Tusker has selected the Leaselink e-procurement platform and the MoDel automated new vehicle delivery and return car inspection system from Oxford-based online solutions provider, Ebbon-Dacs, to improve customers’ new vehicle ordering and delivery requirements.

Leaselink allows leasing companies to source, order and track delivery of new fleet vehicles from a buying community of motor manufacturers and franchised dealers.

Leaselink allows fleet buyers to source the most cost-effective vehicles from a network of dealers and track their progress online from order through to delivery.

Tusker Purchasing Manager, Alison Collier, said the switch to Leaselink had brought them a number of benefits.

“The system is very easy to use, very user friendly and very easy on the eye. The reporting functionality of Leaselink gives us greater information about the performance of our supplying dealers.

“This is important to us as it supports a performance league table to identify our best performing dealers and increase competition within our dealer network,” she said.

Tusker has developed its own online fleet management system, Fleetdesk, and the integration with Leaselink went smoothly with few compatibility issues.

Tusker has also selected Ebbon-Dacs’ MoDel new vehicle delivery and return car inspection solution, which integrates into the Leaselink platform, for all its new vehicle deliveries.

“With MoDel we are able to see delivery notes immediately and are able to receive and reconcile dealer invoices online far more quickly. This allows us to speed up payments to dealers which we know they appreciate,” she said.

“The new photographic functionality and other developments within version two of the system greatly assist with our used vehicle collections,” she added.

Robert Pilkington, Managing Director of the Leaselink Division at Ebbon-Dacs, said: “We would like to welcome Tusker to the Leaselink community and are delighted that they have identified some significant benefits in using the both the e-procurement platform and our delivery and collection solution, MoDel.

“We are continuing to develop and enhance both Leaselink and MoDel in conjunction with our user groups, sharing best practice amongst them to make improvements that everyone within the Leaselink community benefits from,” he said.
