Rugby-based cosmetic vehicle repair franchisor Revive has been named Franchisor of the Year 2013 in the Brand Builder category of the BFA national awards.
Brand building highlights from the past 18 months include sponsorship of British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) driver Andrew Jordan as well as affiliations with Tesco Clubcard and the Ford Accident Repair Centre network.
Speaking after the awards ceremony which was held on Thursday (July 4) at the Honourable Artillery Company in London, Revive managing director Mark Llewellyn said: “We are absolutely delighted to win this prestigious award.
“With a rapidly growing business, achieving brand stand-out and consistency are critical success factors. Revive has worked hard to develop a creative and forward-looking marketing plan to implement its brand growth strategy.
“Developing a strong brand requires true clarity of vision, and it is important to identify the best opportunities to raise awareness in the right places.
“Sponsoring Andrew Jordan has been a real winner for us. He performed excellently last season, ensuring we had great visibility in the ITV coverage of BTCC events.
“Small details are important too – such as ensuring each of the 115 Revive vans around the UK carries the correct livery.
“We have developed a Brand Bible so that all of our employees and franchisees know exactly how to represent the brand.”
Sean Hammond, head of franchising at Express Newspapers, said: “Having worked with the Institute of Motor Industry to develop the Automotive Technician Accreditation, Revive has not only showcased its commitment to quality standards in its industry, but also has built upon its brand in the process.
“With 150% revenue growth in five years, thanks to its tight partnerships with franchisees, we are delighted to name Revive as the Brand Builder of the Year.”
Revive specialises in repairing minor scuffs and scrapes to vehicle bodywork and alloy wheels.
It has the largest accredited network of SMART repairers in the UK and is the first to have ATA accredited technicians.
