Nexus Vehicle Rental is celebrating two major accolades in the same week for its commitment to the highest standards of customer care.
Nexus received the Customer Service Award in the nationwide Best Business Awards, as well as its ISO 27001(International Organisation of Standards) - a global certification for excellence in security management.
The Best Business Customer Service Award recognises organisations around the country that go the extra mile to meet the needs of their target audiences. Nexus won the award as a result of outstanding dedication to delivering a high level of customer service, through its award winning IRIS booking system.
The Best Business Awards judges said: “Operating in a business area where service is everything, Nexus Vehicle Rental has made excellent use of technology to meet the demands of its 750 corporate customers.
“After the installation of its Intelligent Rental Information System (IRIS) to manage rentals, bookings can be completed in an incredible 10 seconds.
“Today, half of all bookings are made via IRIS, which leaves more time for the more complex cases. The introduction of speedy booking is an impressive achievement that has helped boost service to unprecedented levels and kept the competition at bay.”
The ISO certificate is internationally recognised as the most prestigious certification of best practice around information security.
The endorsement underlines Nexus’ commitment to the highest level of customer information protection, covering both its internal processes and the resilience of its IT systems, which has had no downtime in the past nine years.
Nexus received the certificate after being examined over a period of just six weeks.
Nexus CEO David Brennan (pictured) said: “Both of these accolades demonstrate our continued commitment to meeting a high quality of customer service.
“At Nexus we have always put our customers at the heart of what we do, and we will always make it our priority to ensure they receive the highest service standards. Both accolades are testament to this.”
