Glass's has launched its digital Guide - giving customers access to even more data, insight and automotive intelligence.
Knowledge is power,” said Ian Tilbrook, Glass’s managing director. “At Glass’s we’re all about giving customers what they need to make smarter decisions and that’s why we’re launching the digital Guide - so users can have the UK’s most relevant and accurate information at their fingertips.”
Glass’s printed car Guide provides around 13,000 valuations every month. The digital version offers more than 33,000 values, unlimited VRM lookups and an RSS feed streaming live industry news.
Accessible on Apple and Android smartphones and tablets, Glass's claim it is the most powerful, easy-to-use car guide on the market. The digital Guide works online and offline, so as long as the App has been updated once a month, even being out of Wi-Fi range isn’t an issue.
Tilbrook added: “The world is going digital, and having fast access to usable information is vital to dealers. We know people love the printed book, and we are confident they will love the digital Guide even more. By giving the industry greater market intelligence through more data, more content and more support, we can enable dealers to really power ahead of their competition. Of course, the printed Guide is still available to dealers around the country as well as the dgital app.”
Richard Parkin, head of valuations and analysis at Glass’s, adds: “Going digital isn’t just about technology. Glass’s as a business is providing more and better data than ever before, and we need an efficient way to disseminate that information. A printed Guide just can’t match the capacity of a digital Guide, and the time is right to make this move. We believe this launch will really demonstrate the power of Glass’s thinking.”
Later this year an additional feature of live retail pricing will also be added to the App, giving dealers access to live regional and national pricing information, allowing them to benchmark against the industry and their competition.
