Audi has revealed a new version of the Q5 Sportback which will be sold alongside the recently launched Q5 SUV.
The sleeker-looking model will go on sale in January and arrive in the UK in May.
Prices for the Q5 Sportback start at £52,450.
Like the Q5 SUV, the Sportback model is based on Audi's latest PPC platform for cars with internal combustion engines.
From launch it will be available with petrol and diesel engines that utilise mild hybrid technology. Plug-on hybrid powertrains will join the line-up at a later date.
The petrol (TFSI) and diesel (TDI) both have a 2.0-litre capacity and 204PS. CO2 emissions for both engines start from 156g/km.
A petrol-powered SQ5 Sportback will also be available, with a 3.0-litre V6.
Using Audi's new interior design language, the Q5 features a combined infotainment and instrument cluster display panel that sits along the top of the dashboard. The central touchscreen integrates key functions such as climate controls and also features a variety of connected entertainment services.
The boot has a volume of 515 litres and the rear seats can be folded in a 40:20:40 split.
Three trim grades are offered: Sport, S Line and Edition 1.
Sport comes with 19-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, leather upholstery, heated front seats, three-zone climate control, adaptive cruise control, reversing camera and sat-nav. The infotainment is provided via a 14.5-inch OLED touchscreen.
S Line models have a sportier appearance with 20-inch wheels, S Line bumpers and sports suspension.
The Edition 1 comes with 21-inch wheels, Matrix LED lights, a 360-degree camera system, electrically adjustable front seats and a touchscreen display for the front passenger.
