Chris Joyce has been appointed as the new managing director of Sogo Mobility, following the departure of Karl Howkins, who is now MD at Flexauto

Joyce, who will lead the company through its next phase of growth, brings a wealth of experience in the mobility and fleet sector, having held senior leadership roles at Fleet Hire, SG Fleet and Octopus Electric Vehicles.

He is also a board director of the Association of Fleet Professionals (AFP)

He said: “I’m excited to join Sogo Mobility at such a pivotal time for the industry.

“The company's commitment to providing innovative and flexible solutions aligns perfectly with the evolving needs of businesses.

“I look forward to working with the Sogo team and our partners at Cambria Automobiles to drive the next growth phase and help businesses transition to sustainable mobility.”

Howkins, who was managing director of Citroen UK before leading Sogo from launch in 2021, was appointed MD at Flexauto Mobility, a fully funded leasing company launched by Peter Vardy, in November 2024 after leaving Sogo in March of the same year.

Sogo recently announced it was extending its carbon off-setting scheme and had renewed its carbon credit offer with BP Target Neutral.

It purchases carbon credits to help compensate for the carbon emissions every mile driven in its petrol, diesel and hybrid vehicles.
