Toyota remains the top fleet preference for Ideal Cleaning Services, with vehicle orders now approaching 100 in the past 10 years.

Based in Nottingham and established almost 70 years, Ideal provides commercial and industrial cleaning services to customers nationwide.

Its vehicle fleet is a key element in its mission to deliver a prompt, reliable service, and it says that the cars it chooses are a reflection of its corporate values in terms of environmental responsibility and support for British manufacturing.

After acquiring almost 100 Toyotas, Ideal started taking delivery of Lexus models as well – most recently an RX 450h hybrid SUV.

It joins a wide-ranging collection of vehicles that includes Aygo, Yaris, the British-Built Auris and Avensis and the mighty Hilux pick-up.

Philip Taylor, Ideal’s Group managing sirector, said: “Over the years we have come to appreciate the quality and reliability of our Toyota vehicles more and more.

“During this time we have also realised increasing benefits from the lower emissions and better fuel economy that have been achieved, aspects that support our business’s environmental considerations and which also help save us money.

“Another crucial factor in our long-standing relationship with Toyota is the level of service we enjoy. When there has been a problem, we’ve seen how Toyota is quick to put things right in a true customer-first way.”

Stuart Ferma, Toyota national fleet sales manager, said: “We greatly appreciate Ideal Cleaning Services’ loyalty and its strong advocacy for Toyota – and now for Lexus, too.

“We are seeing more and more businesses – large and small – recognising how Toyota and Lexus vehicles can deliver across multiple requirements, from helping build a greener fleet to minimising down-time and driving down running costs.”
