MileageCount has launched a fuel card which integrates seamlessly with its mileage capture and driver management software.
Together, they offer a secure and accurate means of reconciling fuel consumption and mileage capture data to support businesses with full HMRC Level 3 VAT reporting.
The MileageCount fuel card operates on the Allstar network and can be used for refuelling with diesel and petrol at virtually all of the UK’s forecourts, and is available to users of MileageCount fleet management software.
The software provides mileage capture via GPS dongle, powered in-car by USB or power socket, or through use of an Apple or Android Smartphone app. It also enables manual mileage entry with Google validation.
Journey data is collected and analysed automatically for trip-by-trip business/private mileage verification, with all information presented to meet HMRC guidelines. Information displays can be tailored according to the circumstances for each individual driver.
Peter Bridgen, Allstar MD, said: “We are delighted to extend the use of our fuel card product to such a leading corporate mileage capture solution. As leaders in our own field, we have a natural bias towards other leading vendors and there is an obvious fit with MileageCount.”
Jez Strong, MileageCount product manager said: “This is a significant advance for MileageCount, which now offers an unparalleled one-stop, single-login solution for fleet management. Organisations face a major challenge in monitoring fleets for everything from fuel use to drivers’ duty-of-care and the combination of the MileageCount software and the MileageCount fuel card offers a perfect solution.”
