R2C Online has launched its 'i2i' issue to invoice SMR authorisation system.
Laurence Vaughan, R2C Online chairman said: “Over the past five years, r2c Online has over 15,000 HGV fleets and 500 workshops using the product. As a direct result of customer feedback, r2c has invested substantially in the creation of a new module, i2i, which is designed to improve efficiencies in managing fleets ranging from HGV right through to cars.”
With i2i, authorisation requests for work required are processed through an online rules engine reflecting the contract terms between the two parties. The product can be used either as a standalone platform or fully-integrated with the complete r2c Online compliance management platform.
Vaughan added: “r2c Online has a unique pedigree, processing over 2 million transactions to date, providing the industry with the comfort that an experienced, credible supplier is underpinning an alternative offering in this area. Our commercial model offers a transparent and low cost solution on a simple pay as you go basis, reducing any barriers to the adoption of our technology. With a substantial and ongoing investment in developing i2i, we have a long term plan to take our heavy goods pedigree and expand into the passenger car and light commercials sector.”
i2i offers a number of benefits and combined with the r2c Online core platform, provides a comprehensive solution, enabling fleet companies to manage servicing for their vehicles more efficiently and with greater transparency and control.
Fleets benefit from a significant reduction in administration costs as a result of automatic authorisation, receiving fewer queried invoices, along with the ability to book appointments for their fleet vehicles online using an industry-best online booking system. Dealers will benefit from greater efficiency, lower administration cost, increased workshop throughput and better cash flow.
Nick Walls, r2c Online Managing Director, said: “We credit a large degree of our success in the HGV sector being down to the experience of this market which our operations and development teams have."
“We have kept the same philosophy developing i2i and to have people like Laurence on the team has given a unique insight in to the LCV and passenger car sector too. We believe our technology will give customers a much needed new choice and an alternative to the way things have always been done in this market, changing the way fleets manage their maintenance spend, and speeding up payment for the dealer. We have secured a number of customers onto the i2i platform, and interest from all sectors is already very high”.
