Claims management expert FMG has partnered with Direct Fleet Insurance (DFI), the specialist trading website for fleet insurance.
DFI’s solution aims to enable insurers to compete openly with one another as they bid to secure fleet insurance contracts offered by over 400 brokers and is supported by a panel of the UK’s largest fleet insurers including LV, Zurich, Aviva, Ageas, AXA, Covea, NIG and Markerstudy.
As part of the new contract, FMG provides claims management services, predominantly for fleets underwritten by Markerstudy. This service includes a 24/7/365 first notification of loss solution, UK-wide repair management and a suite of legal services.
Andrew Wallace, managing director of DFI, said: “Sometimes the UK SME market can be under-served and we were looking for a high-quality outsource partner to provide an exceptional quality of service for our range of commercial fleet clients.
“By partnering with FMG, our customers gain access to over 25 years’ worth of claims management expertise, a UK-wide PAS-125 accredited repairer network and cost-mitigating legal services, all carried out to Direct Fleet Insurance’s own exacting standards.”
Ben Creswick, business development director at FMG, said: “This win is the latest in FMG’s line of successes in the fleet claims management marketplace and enables us to further demonstrate our ability to reduce the total cost of claims whilst improving the service we provide to insurers and policyholders.
“Through our intelligent use of innovative technology we retain tight control of every single cost, process and deadline, whilst providing an unrivalled experience for Direct Fleet Insurance’s policyholders”.
FMG has a long history of efficient incident resolution for fleet insurers, blue chip private companies, public sector organisations and police forces.
Its strategic focus on incident prevention, reducing the total cost of claims and delivering exceptional customer service have been key to successful customer retention and continued organic growth, it says.
