Press Association (PA) has appointed JCT600 Vehicle Leasing Solutions (VLS) to supply a fully outsourced fleet management service, including full service contract hire, grey fleet management and driving licence checks, for its 60 plus vehicle fleet.
The national news agency, which has a base in Howden in Yorkshire, began looking for a new fleet supplier a year ago and focused on companies which had the experience, reputation and customer focused approach it needed to support its remote journalists and photographers.
JCT600 VLS was able to demonstrate that it could meet all of these requirements and the relationship has developed into a sole supply agreement with JCT600 VLS extending the range of services it delivers to PA.
In addition, through the JCT600 group, all 1,200 PA employees, as well as their families, will have the additional benefit of access to competitive opportunities on a wide range of car manufacturers and models.
Sophie Ingram, head of procurement at PA, said, “We have been delighted with the service JCT600 VLS has delivered to us and, most importantly, to our drivers since we decided to use them 12 months ago. They have met and exceeded all our expectations and continue to provide a really high quality product. We are excited about extending this wider within PA so that all of our employees can benefit from this relationship.”
JCT600 VLS is a stand-alone business within JCT600. It operates a fleet of 7,000 vehicles, predominantly serving SMEs, typically with fleets of 5-200 vehicles, supplying all brands of cars, vans and even mini buses throughout the UK from the South East to Scotland.
