Stoke-on-Trent City Council has taken delivery of six Citroën C3 models, one of the first major deliveries of the all-new C3 to a public sector organisation
The cars will be used to assist Stoke-on-Trent City Council team members working with vulnerable residents.
Citroën secured the order following a competitive tender process and will deliver a further four, which is part of an order for ten C3s in total.
“This is a significant public sector order for New Citroën C3, following so swiftly after the car’s launch at the beginning of January. It shows that New C3 offers a competitive edge in a sector where there is tough competition,” said Martin Gurney, PSA Group UK fleet director.
The fleet is finished in a wide range of colours, taking full advantage of Citroën’s bi-tone colour schemes, which provide a contrasting roof colour to compliment the chosen body colour.
Each New C3 has been specified with an extended warranty, providing cover for five-years/100,000 miles – the expected service life of the cars with Stoke-on-Trent City Council.
The Council has previously ordered Grand C4 Picassos and Relay vans.
