The practical advice and financial support available to help fleet operators with the transition to a zero emission future will be at the heart of discussions at Fleet Live, the biggest and most important event in the UK fleet calendar.

As pressure mounts on diesel exhaust emissions, a raft of help and assistance is accessible for fleets looking to adopt low and zero emission vehicles.

This includes building a business case to make the switch, the identification of vehicle functions best suited to lower emission alternatives, the installation of workplace and domestic charge points, access to public recharging networks, and the grants available to make the transition as economically attractive as possible.

Matthew Eastwood, head of transport at the Energy Saving Trust, will be the keynote speaker in a session dedicated to these issues.

He will address the impact of the new WLTP vehicle emission testing regime, tackle the ‘death of diesel’, and discuss case studies of fleet operators who are benefiting from operating zero emission vehicles, and highlight the support available to fleet operators.

Matthew Eastwood will be speaking at Fleet Live on October 9.
