Attendees at Fleet Live 2019 will be given the key to keeping their vehicles on the road, as the AA’s expert locksmiths unlock the secrets to the organisation’s specialist Key Assist capabilities.
Taking place on October 8-9 at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre (NEC), Fleet Live is set to welcome thousands of fleet managers and suppliers, all looking to pick their way through the best the industry has to offer.
The real-world specialist Key Assist vehicle will be on display, allowing delegates to glimpse the wealth of interesting and specialist tech available in a privilege usually reserved for those qualified to pick locks.
Resembling one of the AA’s distinctive yellow vans on the outside, the Key Assist van is a treasure trove of high (and low) tech solutions to make duplicate keys for resale and regain access for locked-out drivers.
Stand H30 will also play host to AA Patrol of the Year, George Flinton, as well as colleagues from Prestige Vehicle Services, the technology-led Service, Maintenance and Repair (SMR) business which the AA acquired earlier in the year.
Representatives will be on hand to talk about the opportunities for fleets to take advantage of the 400-strong garage network, as well as the AA’s 3,000-strong mobile workforce which can come out to homes and workplaces.
Director of fleet and SME at the AA, Stuart Thomas, said: “We’re looking forward to returning to Fleet Live this year, with something a little different to showcase.
“Our Key Assist technicians are specialists and the best at what they do, so we’re delighted we can let delegates into a few of their trade secrets.
“It is also fantastic that our colleagues at Prestige will be on hand to talk all things SMR and no doubt we will be giving away plenty of the coveted AA squidgy yellow vans.”
The AA is exhibiting on stand H30 at Fleet Live 2019, which takes place 8th and 9th October at Birmingham’s NEC. To book your free ticket to the two-day show, click here.
