O'Donovan Waste Disposal’s drivers will be using CheckedSafe app for carrying out daily checks across its fleet of 90 HGVs.
The new system will replace paper-based checks, enabling drivers to perform inspections at the touch of a button, speeding up processes and enhancing communications.
The app records the GPS coordinates and duration of the check taking place ensuring adequate time has been taken to complete it.
O'Donovan’s managing director Jacqueline O'Donovan (pictured) said: "We are delighted to be working with CheckedSafe. Safety is our number-one priority and a system that contributes to overall vehicle compliance and health and safety is a welcome addition."
O'Donovan’s operations officer Lee Hayhow said: "The system is easy to use and to implement which is crucial. It can be fully customised, so we can modify the checks to suit our specific requirements."
CheckedSafe’s director Darran Harris said: "We are delighted to welcome O'Donovan Waste as a customer.
"O’Donovan are a very progressive and forward-thinking company who are constantly looking at ways of improving their systems.
