BCA logistics has announced “significant” EU growth over the last 12 months and award recognition from Fleet Europe.  

A new integrated vehicle logistics service has seen BCA grow its cross-border transport volume operations in Europe significantly in the last 12 months. 

The service has now been recognised with an international award for its 1Europe Transport service, presented by Fleet Europe in Barcelona on November 27.

The 1Europe Transport service provides a dedicated logistics solution for the transport of used cars across Europe that offers both flexibility and reliability. It has seen transported vehicle volumes increase five-fold in just six months since launching in 2018.

BCA’s EU operations director Bertrand de Techtermann said: “1Europe Transport is creating a new market by providing a unified transport proposition throughout the EU at fixed prices.

"When integrated with mass transit solutions, we can drive speed and efficiency through the supply chain.

“The solution we created offers our buyers and vendors the flexibility to buy and sell across territories at a scale that hasn’t existed before.”

The move follows new investment in people, technology and trucks to create a robust logistics network with the capacity to be flexible around market requirements.

BCA 1Europe Transport received recognition late last month with an International Car Remarketing Award from the Fleet Europe.

Techtermann said: “We are very proud to have won the International Car Remarketing category in this year’s Fleet Europe Awards.
