Dawsongroup has unveiled a new name for its fleet division, Dawsongroup emc, as it gears up for expansion into new sectors.
The company said it re-named the business to reflect the diversity of its growing vehicle range, following growth over the past 17 years.
Dawsongroup emc has expanded into numerous sectors in recent years, offering a fleet of municipal, industrial and specialist vehicles to public and private sector companies.
Paul Beddows, director of sales at Dawsongroup sweepers, said: “Over the past 17-years, the business has become about so much more than road sweepers. We have built a market-leading fleet, spanning a range of sectors in both the public and private sectors.
“Today, as we gear up to expand even further, with new launches in the pipeline, we are delighted to unveil our new name, which perfectly reflects our growth story so far, and where we are going in the very near future.”
Since Dawsongroup acquired the business in 2005, the company’s range includes sweepers, tipper grabs, gully tankers, RCVs, Hotboxes, tippers and caged tippers, suction excavators, and hook loaders.
The business has also made a multi-million-pound investment into alternative fuels, bringing a range of zero emission electric road sweepers to market.
In June, Dawsongroup Vans announced it had set up a team of advisers to assist customers and suppliers on their fleets route to net zero.
