Renault has unveiled the latest Clio, featuring new powertrains and a higher quality interior. It will go on sale in the UK from October.
Styling changes are subtle and include new signature LED lights, a re-designed front grille and a new rear bumper. To allow for more extensive personalisation there are four new colours and a selection of new wheel and wheel trim designs.
On the inside the Clio benefits from the use of higher quality materials and comes with a choice of new upholsteries. The quality of the plastics has been improved and more subtle colours are used to give an upmarket feel.
A new 1.5-litre dCi diesel engine with 110 bhp joins the engine line up and is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. As a result, a choice of 11 powertrain combinations are available.
Customers also have a choice of three connected multimedia systems; The Media Nav Evolution, Renault R-Link Evolution and the new, smart R&GO system which is available on entry trim levels. For the first time on a Clio, a Bose sound system is optionally available.
Extra safety kit includes front parking sensors and a reversing camera. Buyers of higher end models can also benefit from a Handsfree parking feature.
Full details on the UK line-up with pricing and specification will be available later in the summer. Vehicle ordering is due open in October with deliveries commencing later that month.
