Citroen has expanded its line-up with the addition of C Series Edition variants across its C3, C3 Aircross, C4 and C5 Aircross models.
Previously available only to C3 and C3 Aircross buyers – and formerly labelled C-Series – C-Series Edition has been tailored specifically for the UK market and reflects Citroen’s Fair Pricing commitment.
C3 C-Series Edition
New C3 C-Series Edition models come with 16-inch ‘Matrix’ alloy wheels, dark-tinted rear windows, as well as a contrasting bi-tone roof in either black or white. As with all C-Series Edition models, the C3 features the Anodised Bronze Colour Pack with bronze detailing around the front fog lights and Airbump capsules..
The specification also features electrically folding door mirrors, as well as rear parking sensors and a reversing camera. A seven-inch touchscreen features DAB digital radio, Bluetooth and comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Prices start at just £17,000, with a choice of either a 1.2-litre PureTech 83 petrol engine and a six-speed manual gearbox or a 1.2-litre PureTech 110 petrol with a six-speed automatic.
C3 Aircross C-Series Edition
C3 Aircross C-Series Edition sits just below the Shine trim level and comes as standard with Citroen’s distinctive Anodised Bronze Colour Pack, on this occasion featuring a bronze-coloured skid plate insert at the front of the car and bronze door mirrors. The new model also features 16-inch ‘X Cross’ black alloy wheels and dark-tinted rear windows.
The interior is equipped with a leather-effect wrapped dashboard and a leather steering wheel, custom floor mats and Mica Grey upholstery. Rear parking sensors, automatic Eco LED headlights and automatic windscreen wipers are standard, along with DAB, Apple CarPla and Android Auto.
Offered only with a 1.2-litre PureTech 110 petrol engine and a six-speed manual gearbox, the C3 Aircross C-Series Edition is available from £20,075.
C4 & e-C4 C-Series Edition
The C4 and e-C4 also features the Anodised Bronze Colour Pack, which adds bronze surrounds to the fog lights and on the Airbump panels, with bronze ‘C-Series Edition’ badges on the wings.
The e-C4 C-Series Edition comes with 18-inch diamond-cut ‘Crosslight’ alloy wheels, while petrol and diesel versions feature 18-inch ‘Aeroblade’ alloy wheels. All models also benefit from dark-tinted rear windows and body-coloured bumpers and door handles.
Inside, the models come equipped with Citroen’s HiFi speaker system and a 10-inch touchscreen, equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as DAB, Bluetooth and satnav.
A heated leather steering wheel and the heated front seats are also included.
C4 C-Series Edition is available with a choice two petrol configurations and two diesels. A 1.2-litre PureTech 130 petrol with a six-speed manual, or a 1.2-litre PureTech 130 with eight-speed automatic can be specified, along with a 110PS manual or 130PS automatic version of Citroen’s 1.5-litre diesel.
Prices start at £25,560, or £30,495 for the e-C4 (after the current £1,500 Government Plug-in Car Grant).
C5 Aircross C-Series Edition
The C5 Aircross C-Series Edition sits at the top of the range, featuring a high-level specification. The Anodised Bronze Colour Pack along with 19-inch diamond-cut bi-tone ‘Art’ alloy wheels enance the look. All models also come with a black bi-tone roof that features an electrically operated opening panoramic glass sunroof.
Inside, the car is equipped with a 10-inch capacitive touchscreen, equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as satnav. A wireless charging pad also features, along with Citroen Advanced Comfort seats and a power tailgate.
The Drive Assist Pack, which includes Active Safety Brake with video and radar assistance, Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Monitoring and Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go is fitted as standard.
The C5 Aircross C-Series Edition is available with a choice of petrol and diesel engines, with prices from £29,765. Petrol models feature a 1.2-litre PureTech 130 engine and can be specified with either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic gearbox, while Diesel models come with a 1.5-litre BlueHDi 130 four-cylinder power and the same choice of six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmissions.
A plug-in hybrid powertrain, with an electric-only range of 34 miles (WLTP), can also be specified.
