Hyundai Motor UK has announced pricing and specification details for its new Kona B-segment SUV range.
The new model is 145mm longer, 25mm wider and 20mm taller than its predecessor, and will be offered with a choice of EV (standard or long-range), hybrid electric (HEV) and petrol powertrains.
Prices for the Kona Electric start at £34,995.
Ashley Andrew, president of Hyundai Motor UK, said: “Since its launch in late 2017, the Kona range has sold more than 65,000 vehicles across the powertrain line-up and has become a key model in our range.
“While we are eagerly anticipating the arrival of the all-new Kona Electric later this year, we also expect a significant demand for the ICE and Hybrid line-up, particularly in N Line and S Line trims.”
Among the upgrades are dual 12.3-inch panoramic display screens, full over-the-air software update s, while fitted across the range as standard is a navigation and infotainment system comprising of a 12.3-inch screen, Bluetooth, DAB radio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, steering wheel controls and front and rear USB C charging points.
Two petrol engines are available, a 120PS 1.0T and a 198PS 1.6T, with one hybrid option: a 141PS 1.6-litre.
New Kona will be available in four trim levels: Advance and Ultimate, as well as the sportier N Line and N Line S.
Advance trim levels begin at £25,725 (P11D price) for the 1.0T 120PS manual model, with prices rising to £33,995 for the range-topping Ultimate 1.6 Hybrid.
