Sid Taylor joins Vehicle Quality Solutions as head of sales and marketing

Vehicle inspections provider Vehicle Quality Solutions (VQS) has appointed Sid Taylor to the newly created role of head of sales and marketing.

Taylor will be responsible for growing the group’s revenues over the coming years with current and new customers to optimise the use of its UK-wide network of 60 PAYE vehicle inspectors who carry out 250,000 vehicle inspections annually.

He joins from IT Fleet where he was business development manager for nearly six years. Prior to that he held a similar role for five years at Vmoves.

“I have known the VQS team for many years and have always respected the way they do business and the quality of service they provide to their customers,” said Taylor.

“I have already had some positive meetings with prospects who are keen to source an inspection provider who can provide a consistent level of service on a national basis,” he added.

Simon Jackson, managing director of VQS, said: “Sid has huge amounts of experience and has great relationships within the automotive industry. He has already brought in new customers which will help fuel our next round of growth.”
