Northamptonshire-based removal company, Wardle and Keach, has added two new MAN TGM 18.290 trucks to its fleet.

The family-run removal firm made the purchases after assisting MAN's managing director, Simon Elliott, with a number of house moves. The trucks are fitted with bodies by Bespoke Bodies, based in Warrington.

Sue Henry, director and general manager of Wardle and Keach said: “They will be going on the road under Pickfords livery. We are the first company in the area to operate under the new Pickfords Partners scheme which is still relatively new.”

Adam Maher, service partner development manager at Pickfords, said of the new scheme, called Trucks to Go: “We are looking forward to seeing Wardle and Keach’s newest vehicles, the MANs, in the Pickfords livery.

“Under the scheme, which was launched seven months ago, they work as our partners, operating under our colours and as our contractors. It is fantastic that the newest vehicles will be under our livery.”

Scott Munton, MAN sales executive, said: "The Trucks to Go scheme meant Wardle and Keach could have the vehicles months ahead of a factory build, and already mated to the build quality of Bespoke’s removals body too,"

“With the striking Pickford’s paintwork arranged by Bespoke and the requested bolt-ons carried out locally at MAN Northampton, meant they were ready for work in no time.

“The whole transaction with Wardle and Keach has been both fun and entertaining from the initial introduction to the finalising of all the details. I wholeheartedly wish the Henry family all the best of success with their two brand new investments in this new venture with Pickfords.“ said Munton.
