Bibby Distribution has renewed its deal with Trakm8 to supply it with a tracking solution for a further five years.

The companies began working together in 2015 and the extended relationship will see the logistics and supply chain specialist use Trakm8’s real-time GPS trailer tracking solution across its 1,300-strong trailer and tanker fleet.

Trakm8’s trailer tracking technology enables users to continuously monitor the mileage and location of active trailers, as well as locating under-utilised assets.

It also enables transport operators to create geofences (virtual boundaries) to help safeguard against the unauthorised use of the assets.
