THE Ford Maverick and Nissan Terrano are to get a July face-lift with changes including revised bodywork and an intercooler for the diesel engine to boost power by 25%. A small price rise is being predicted for both vehicles which currently range in price from £15,465 for a Terrano 3 dr LX to £21,470 for a range-topping five door Maverick.

The modified grilles will make the two vehicles look a little more different but insiders say Ford has a hidden agenda. It is planning to bring over the Explorer - a big, luxurious American 4x4 - and it wants the Maverick to share the front-end look.
