Some of the best logistics companies in the UK have been revealed at Logistics UK's eighth annual awards recognising the sector.
Booker and DFDS were among some of the big winners at the event, with Tracey Downend, distribution manager at Booker winning Transport Manager of the Year, while Matt O'Dell, managing director - England Logistics, DFDS Logistics, picked up the award for best Logistics Leader of the Year, as well as Road Transport Operator of the Year.
Benz Sirikorn Mecasuwandamrong, technology graduate at Ligentia won Rising Star of the Year, while Powys County Council won the public sector gong.
Road to Logistics won the Diversity and Inclusion Champion of the Year.
Logistics UK's 8th Annual awards reception and celebratory gala dinner saw 16 winners in total, with entries coming in from a mix of categories, including road, rail, sea and air including operators, manufacturers, logistics and supporting industries.
The awards ceremony was followed by a casino and dance off among the UK logstic industry's best.
