TWO dozen HDi diesel-engined Peugeots have been added to Northamptonshire Cricket Club's player and staff car fleet. Fuel economy was cited as a key factor in the lease deal, which follows evaluation of eight 406 diesels taken on last summer.

Club star Paul Taylor said: 'We've really enjoyed the Peugeots we've been driving during the past year and they've impressed us with their fuel economy. All the players do a lot of travelling and often have quite a lot of kit, so the estates are perfect.'
