ARI has announced it has undergone a major restructure in the way it offers fleet management services, following the expansion of its leasing portfolio.
The firm has created separate teams within its operation Complex and Complete, providing two different fleet management solutions.
In 2020, ARI exclusively told Fleet News, it was investing in its portfolio management service, a part of both Complex and Complete products.
Nick Caller, managing director at ARI, said: "ARI has a strong reputation for delivering excellent customer service and fleet management, and as we have expanded following the introduction of FlexLease we have taken the opportunity to segment our business and align our teams directly to the type of customer they support.
"By doing this, our teams can better focus on customers' needs and, in doing so, help them achieve their objectives by offering transparency, agility and a true return on investment."
FlexLease has no end-of-contract mileage charges and allows the fleet, not the leasing provider, to determine when they defleet vehicles by combining real time data, online dashboards and finance lease funding.
The Complex division has been created for those where specific and bespoke management is needed for legislative and regulatory requirements, such as for O-licences, Earned Recognition and other compliance processes, and specialist procurement, service, maintenance and repair, said ARI.
The Complete division will deliver fleet management for businesses running vehicles that do not have such legislative and regulatory requirements but still need fleet management, data insights and SMR provision.
Caller said: “There are fewer Complex fleets, but they require much greater levels of service and an intimate understanding of compliance.
“They need support from experts who understand their operation inside-out and can proactively help them run quite complicated fleets alongside solving issues that can be very particular to these businesses.
"On the other hand, there are many other fleets who want fleet management which brings great value, reduces costs, increases efficiency and enhances their business operation. But they do not need a made-to-measure service for specific vehicles.
“In this sense, our Complete offering standardises and streamlines many processes for the management of cars and vans, bringing insight through data."
Nimesh Chauhan, previously head of client relations, has been appointed as director Complex brand, while Matt Cranny, formerly operations Director, will lead Complete as director of Leasing & Complete.
"Offering distinct Complex and Complete services will allow customers to be sure that the services and expertise they are buying from us is exactly what they need for their own purposes and Nimesh and Matt, with their combined decades of experience in fleet management and leasing, will head up the teams to ensure we are even more focused on delivering exceptional fleet management services for our clients," added Caller.
